Terms of use

These terms govern your use of daytradingapp.com. By reading, browsing, or using anything on this site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, the fix is simple: don’t use the site.

What this site is, and what it is not

This site publishes research-based analysis of day trading apps, brokers, software, strategies, and the rules that govern them. Every page is editorial content produced by the Day Trading App Team, built from official documentation, regulatory publications, and verifiable comparisons. You can read exactly how reviews are scored on how we rate.

This site is not a broker, not an investment adviser, not a trading platform, and not a financial planner. Nothing here executes trades, holds funds, or manages money. Nothing here is a solicitation or an offer to buy or sell any security or financial instrument.

Risk disclaimer

Day trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. You can lose some or all of the money you trade with, and with margin you can lose more than you deposited. Most day traders lose money; the studies behind that statement are cited on the statistics page, and nothing on this site changes those odds for you.

Past performance, whether of a market, a strategy, a scanner signal, or any product covered here, does not predict future results. Hypothetical and worked examples on this site exist to illustrate mechanics, not to promise outcomes. No page on this site guarantees, implies, or projects any level of trading profit. Trade only with money you can afford to lose.

Not financial, legal, or tax advice

Content on this site is general information and editorial opinion. It is not personalized investment advice, legal advice, or tax advice, and it doesn’t account for your financial situation, objectives, or risk tolerance. Before acting on anything you read here, do your own research and, where it matters, talk to a licensed professional: a registered investment adviser for investment decisions, a CPA for tax questions, an attorney for legal ones.

A product being reviewed favorably here doesn’t mean it’s right for you. Every review states who the product is for and who should skip it; that framing is editorial judgment, not a directive.

Accuracy, verification, and change

Prices, fees, account minimums, features, and regulatory rules change constantly. Every fact-bearing page carries a “Last verified” date reflecting when its sources were checked against official pricing pages, help centers, and regulator publications. Between that date and the day you read the page, anything can move: a tier price, a refund window, a margin rule.

The site makes reasonable efforts to keep facts current but provides all content “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Always confirm pricing, terms, and rules on the official source before you commit money. If you spot an error, contact the team; factual corrections get priority.

Editorial independence

This site currently has no paid relationships with any product, broker, or service it covers. Every outbound link is a plain editorial link. If that ever changes, it will be disclosed on every affected page and in the affiliate disclosure, which carries the full independence statement and the disclosure policy.

Third-party sites and products

Pages on this site link to brokers, software publishers, regulators, and studies. Those sites have their own terms, privacy practices, and accuracy standards, and this site controls none of them. A link is a citation or a reference, not an endorsement of everything on the destination, and not a guarantee that the linked product will work as its publisher claims. Your relationship with any broker or software product you sign up for is between you and that business.

Intellectual property

The content on this site (text, original tables, graphics, calculators, and the trading journal template) belongs to the site’s publisher and is protected by copyright. You may read it, link to it, and quote brief excerpts with attribution and a link back. You may not republish full pages, scrape-and-repost content, or use the material to train commercial products without written permission. Product names, logos, and trademarks mentioned on this site belong to their respective owners; their appearance here is editorial reference, not affiliation.

Acceptable use

Don’t use this site to do anything unlawful, don’t attempt to interfere with its operation, and don’t misrepresent its content as your own or as personalized advice from this site. The free tools, including the position size calculator and the journal template, are provided for personal use.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site’s publisher, contributors, and the Day Trading App Team are not liable for any losses or damages arising from your use of this site or your reliance on its content. That includes, without limitation, trading losses, lost profits, missed opportunities, data loss, or decisions made based on information that was accurate when verified but changed afterward. Trading decisions are yours alone. If you live in a jurisdiction that doesn’t allow certain liability limitations, those limitations apply to you only to the extent the law permits.

Changes to these terms

These terms can change. When they do, the updated version is posted on this page with a new “Last verified” date, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. Material changes won’t be applied retroactively.

Questions about these terms, correction requests, or permission inquiries go through the contact page. For how the site handles data, see the privacy policy.
